The 'Snore Activated Nudging Pillow' contains a built-in microphone to detect the sonic vibrations particular to snoring.
When the noise levels from snoring start to escalate, the pillow inflates an internal bladder, causing the user to adjust their sleeping position.
The sensitivity of the microphone can be adjusted for light or heavy snoring, while the bladder can be manually inflated to anywhere between 10.1 to 17.8 cm, 'Gizmag' reported.
The pillow, developed by New York-based Hammacher Schlemmer, has a 30-minute delay setting that allows one to fall asleep without triggering inflation and its contoured shape provides optimal head positioning for ameliorating snoring.
The pillow costs USD 149.95.
