New train between Chandigarh-Firozepur to start from Feb 10

A daily express train between Chandigarh and Firozpur will start from February 10.
"For the convenience of the rail passengers, Railways will introduce a new train 14613/14614 Chandigarh - Firozpur - Chandigarh Daily Express," said an official release here.
Chandigarh - Firozpur Daily Express train will depart from Chandigarh at 4.30 pm on February 10 and will reach Firozpur at 9.30 pm the same day, it said.
In the return direction, the Firozpur - Chandigarh daily express train will depart from Firozpur from the next day at 7.00 am to reach Chandigarh at 11.45 am on the same day, the statement said.

The train will comprise 10 general class and 2 luggage can coaches, it said.
It will stop at Mohali, Samrala, Ludhiana, Jagraon, Moga and Talwandi railway stations enroute in both directions.
Meanwhile, Punjab BJP President Kamal Sharma while thanking the Union Government for fulfilling this long pending demand of the border areas and Malwa region, said that this train would boost the commercial prospects of the region and provide a big relief to the daily commuters.
