New train between Vijaywada and Dharmavarm

Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu today launched a new train between Vijaywada and Dharmavaram from here through video-conferencing catering to the growing demand from the area.
The tri-weekly service will start from Vijayawada every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday while in return journey the train will leave every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from Dharmavaram.
The 11-coach train comprising of 2AC, 3AC and Sleeper Classes will have stoppages at Guntur, Narsaraopet, Vinukonda, Markapur Road, Giddalur, Nandyal, Dhone Gooty and Anantpur stations in both directions.
