Newborn baby girl, brother died in house collapse in UP

A newborn baby girl, her seven-year-old brother died and their mother seriously injured after the ceiling of their mud house collapsed here today due to heavy rains.
The woman, Maya (30), has been hospitalised at Choumuha primary health centre and is stated to be out of danger.
The incident took place today at around 11:45 AM in Agaryala village as the area received heavy downpour last night, following which the ceiling of the house collapsed, Chhata SDM RamSingh Gautam said.
A newly born girl and a minor boy died on the spot while the woman is injured, he said adding that Maya's husband, Mahendra, was not at home when the incident happened.

Mahendra will get Rs three lakh as compensation for the death of his two children and repairing of house and other household material as it all happen due to a natural calamity, Gautam said.
