Saxena, who has joined as the tenth DM in the district on March 8, the International Women's Day, said at her first press meet here yesterday that women should not feel fear while exercising their rights.
"I have occupied the chair on the International Women's Day, and assure (to women) that my performance will prove that women can take daring and strict decisions as compared to men and moreover," said the newly-appointed DM.

She had availed commendations from then Chief Minister H N Bahuguna but was later transferred under political pressure.
