According to police, they were investigating a complaint from an NGO, through an email, stating that the US citizen was gangraped by five men who entered into her room on the pretext of some tour and travel related work.
The woman went back to her country and since she was scared, she didn't approach police, a senior police official said, adding that the complaint was being investigated and following the inquiry, an FIR will be lodged within a couple of days.
