In view of upcoming assembly polls in Rajasthan, steps should be taken to ensure fool proof security to VVIPs, Director-General of National Investigation Agency Navneet Rajan Wasan today told a meet of IPS officers.
Besides routine security plans, the officers should make plans to deal with exigencies, Wasan told IPS officers at Rajasthan Police Academy (RPA) here.
Keep interaction and dialogue with local people and find out and underline the lapses, if any, and redress them right away, he said while delivering a valedictory address at the IPS' five day special training programme.
RPA Director and Additional Director General B L Soni stressed that the security of VVIPs should be taken up as a challenge.
