Nickel and tin slip on subdued demand

Nickel and tin prices slipped at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists selling amid subdued demand from alloy industries.
Elsewhere, copper utensils and copper sheet cuttings also declined marginally due to poor offtake from industrial users.
While, lead and brass utensils scrap gained on good demand from industrial users.
Nickel prices fell by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 800 from Thursday's close at Rs 810 and tin eased by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,445 from Rs 1,450 yesterday.
Zinc and copper sheet cuttings softened by a Re per kg each to Rs 198 and Rs 347, respectively.
However, lead and brass utensils scrap inched up by a Re per kg each to Rs 141 and Rs 278, respectively.
