Nickel prices fell by 0.12% to Rs 941.20 per kg in futures trade today as participants reduced exposures amidst a weak trend overseas.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, nickel for delivery in November eased by Rs 1.10, or 0.12%, to Rs 941.20 per kg in a turnover of 20 lots.

Similarly, the metal for delivery in October traded lower by 40 paise, or 0.04%, to Rs 934.10 per kg in 479 lots.

Traders attributed the fall in nickel prices at futures trade to a weak trend in base metal at the London Metal Exchange and subdued demand from domestic alloy-makers.
