A Brazilian website has claimed that the return of BEP, which will be held in June, will feature Nicole as the female vocalist, reported Ace Showbiz.
The site goes on claiming that Fergie is too busy with her highly anticipated album "Double Dutchess", so that she has no time for her old band.
Meanwhile, the former The Pussycat Dolls frontwoman hasn't gained much success with her solo venture despite releasing some singles.
Representatives for both singers have yet to give any confirmation regarding the report.
Earlier this week, Nicole and apl.De.Ap reportedly flew to London where they will have another recording session with Will and Taboo.
The Grammy Award-winning group announced that they were taking hiatus in July 2011. They have released six studio albums including their triple-platinum album "Monkey Business", which was released on May 27, 2005.
