Sima Ige (30) was arrested yesterday at the airport while trying to return to Nigeria after Immigration officials found his travel papers to be fake, police said in a statement.
Based on a complaint filed by the Immigration officials, he was arrested by Airport police, it said, adding, he had a forged passport.
He had arrived in India on a one month visa in March 2013 but had overstayed and was employed in a mobile phone shop in New Delhi and had preferred a complaint there last month that his passport was missing, it said.
