'Nightmarish experience' says actress

Malayalam film actress, Apoorva Bose, who was among the several Keralites stranded in flood ravaged Jammu and Kashmir, today said it was a "nightmarish experience".
The actress, who arrived here today from Delhi, said she had gone to J-K with a 15-member group for trekking and at least 10 persons are still struck there.
"Only children and women have been airlifted. There are many more who are still stuck there," the young actress said.
Apoorva said her group had first stayed in a homestay, but later shifted to a hotel after water level rose dangerously.
"We were airlifted in a helicopter after three days. We did not have food or water during the three days. It was a nightmarish experience," she said.

She thanked the defence personnel, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, state Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala and MLA Hibi Eden, for her safe return.
Another batch of 19 persons, who had gone to J-K from Kochi, are also expected to arrive later today.
