Nihang Phoola murder case: Two youths acquitted

A court here today acquitted two Sikh youths in the 2008 Nihang Ajit Singh Phoola murder case.
Sessions judge Gurbir Singh acquitted Navtej Singh and Harchand Singh who set Tarna Dal Nihang chief Phoola on fire in Amritsar Central Jail in 2008.
Phoola, who suffered severe burn injuries, later died in a hospital.
At the time of attack, Phoola, who was undergoing trial in various cases including murder, was taking lunch in his prison cell.
