Nina Dobrev, Derek Hough end short romance

'Vampire Diaries' star Nina Dobrev and 'Dancing with the Stars' pro dancer Derek Hough have reportedly split just two weeks after their first date.
The couple apparently decided to part ways due to the nature of their work, reported Aceshowbiz.
Earlier this month, 24-year-old Dobrev and 28-year-old Hough went public for the first time as a couple when they attended Universal Studio's Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights in LA.
Before that outing, they were rumored to be seeing each other, fueled further by tweets exchanged between the two after Hough won an Emmy.
Dobrev was previously involved in a relationship with her 'Vampire Diaries' co-star Ian Somerhalder, a romance that began in 2011 and ended in May this year.

A friend of the pair disclosed "the distance was too much to handle," as the "DWTS" dancer works in LA while Dobrev shoots her hit TV drama series in Atlanta, Georgia.
Despite the split-up, Dobrev and Hough are said to be keen on keeping their friendship.
