Nine of family killed in mishap in Rajasthan

Nine persons of a family, including women and children, were killed and one was injured when an SUV, in which they were travelling, collided head-on with a truck in Rajasthan's Nagaur district.
The mishap took place last night in Khinvsar area on Jodhpur-Nagaur road, nearly 35 km from Nagaur district headquarters, when the victims were returning home in Nagaur city after attending a function in Jodhpur, Additional SP Pyare Lal said.
"The victims were rushed to a district hospital where eight of them were declared dead and two were referred to Jodhpur hospital. One of them died on the spot and the other is being treated in Jodhpur," he said.

The deceased included three women, as many children, and men.
Eight of them were identified as Anwar, Sakir, Umar, Aasif, Farzan, Nadia, Alisha, and Umeda.
