The decision was taken at a meeting of the Bihar cabinet chaired by Kumar here.
The cabinet gave its nod to the proposal of Cabinet Coordination department to allocate Rs 2,60,74,02,668 for acquiring the land, Principal Secretary to the Cabinet department Brajesh Mehrotra said.
Out of this, 108 acres would be handed over free of cost to Airport Authority for usage.
The cabinet approved the proposal for acquiring 126.4075 acres at Bihta for construction of civil enclave.
The cabinet gave its nod to 19 proposals of different departments at the meeting, he said.
A proposal of the Law department for nominating Patna High Court judge Navniti Prasad as working chairman of Bihar Legal Services Authority was also approved, Mehrotra added.
