He launched a website to provide information on the celebration of 350th Prakash Utsav of the Sikh guru early next year.
The website has been developed by tourism department and provides information to visitors about how to reach Patna and where to stay during the function, he said at the function held on the occasion.
Elaborate arrangements would be made for the mega celebration of Prakash Utsav of the 10th Sikh Guru Govind Singh and a three-day public holiday would be announced, he said.
Kumar also flagged off a tourism department vehicle for publicity of Prakash utsav.
Tourism minister Anita Devi, principal secretary to tourism department Harjot Kaur and development commissioner Shishir Sinha were present on the occasion.
