"A part of Bihar was carved out to form a separate state of Jharkhand. There is no ban on people of Jharkhand to get jobs in Bihar than why the obstacle in that state?" Kumar told reporters here.
"Jobs cannot be limited for people of a particular state only. Still they are making such announcements for which BJP owes an explanation," Kumar said.
"They (BJP) are trying to crush basic rights of a citizen by indulging in such efforts," he said, slamming the BJP government in the neighbouring state.
"After cobbling majority by engineering defection in other parties, the BJP government in Jharkhand is indulging in unethical practises," Kumar, a senior leader of JD(U) claimed.
Former chief minister Rabri Devi also slammed Jharkhand government over the issue.
"We often hear people from Bihar are prevented from getting jobs in Maharashtra and other places which is against the Constitution. The country belongs to everybody and there should not be any discrimination," she told reporters.
