While it is still not known as to what kind of measures might be taken but Delhi & Disricts Cricket Association (DDCA) are on a sticky wicket because of the surrounding conditions at the ground.
According to sources, the DDCA might get a rap on its knuckles from the BCCI and the next 'home game' against Rajasthan CA XI might have to be played at the Feroz Shah Kotla.
Officially, they are tightlipped about the issue. DDCA vice-president Chetan Chowhan, when contacted, said that he has no knowledge about the issue.
Often the members and their children are seen hovering around the players' arena and dressing rooms, which needs to be sanitized as per ICC's anti-corruption rules.
But in a private club which is run by its members, the club authorities can hardly do anything to prevent the members from moving around freely across the boundary ropes.
It will be interesting to see of DDCA again speaks to the club authorities and once again arrange for 'local bouncers', who are generally employed during the Christmas and New year's Eve. This in fact was done last year during one of the matches.
