S Chandrahasan, a partner in Raajkamal Films International, in his counter to a civil suit by Regent Saimira Entertainment Ltd seeking to restrain Raajkamal from releasing the film, pending payment of outstanding dues to the firm, said there were no dues payable.

He said told the court that the defendants were liable to pay Rs 10.50 crore along with interest to it.

It said the defendants were not free to commence any new production due to an MOU signed in April 2008. Such venture ought to have been undertaken after payment of dues to creditors.
