Vij, who was addressing Civil Surgeons of Haryana through video-conferencing here today, also said that digital data of all doctors and employees would be prepared to pave the way for transfers on the basis of merit.
The minister said that no doctor should prescribe any medicine on patient's card to purchase from outside "as the state government is providing free treatment facility."
"If any doctor is found doing so, action would be initiated against him," he said and also directed the civil surgeons to send list of usable, repairable, defective equipment and articles within one month.
The Health Minister directed the Civil Surgeons to get CCTV cameras installed in hospitals by March 31, according to an official release here.
All district hospitals would be linked online with Director General, Health Services, Additional Chief Secretary, Health, and the Health Minister, so that any file could be tracked easily.
Vij directed the district medical officers to send at the earliest full information of approved, under-construction and built-up projects in their districts.
With a view to putting a complete check on the menace of female foeticide, Vij directed all District Medical Officers to inspect ultrasound machines in their districts in one month so that action could be taken against those who indulged in illegal practices.
"Police, Health Department and other secret agencies would also help in gathering information," he said.
