RITES officials also presented the feasibility report at the Metro Project review meeting today.
RITES MD Piyush Kansal said the proposed Gandhibagh Metro station won't be built as the defence had denied the land for the purpose.
He said they had got five suggestions from people in regards and reply for the same has been sent.
Altogether 40 bore holes for the Metro were examined by Geological Survey and reports for all of them is positive, Kansal said.
The second corridor will be from Shradhapuri Phase 2 to Gokulpur. The 15 km long route will have 14 stations, 11 elevated and 3 underground, he said.
The estimated cost of first and second corridor will be around Rs 5,800 crore and 3,800 crore respectively, Bhaskar said.
