The first day of the three-day match between India A and New Zealand A at the Port Stadium in Visakhapatnam was called off due to heavy rains today.
Officials announced the cancellation of day's play as thunderstorms lashed the venue, making it impossible to start the game.
"Today's match is not possible due to water logging in the ground," officials said.
Officials said that the match will be played tomorrow.
Visakhapatnam city and surrounding areas have been experiencing heavy rains since early morning.
