There was no respite from the ongoing heat wave conditions sweeping Haryana and Punjab for the past over a week, with maximum temperatures again hovering between 41-45 degrees Celsius at most places today.
Among other places, searing heat prevailed at Chandigarh, Hisar, Karnal, Bhiwani, Amritsar, Ludhiana and Patiala.
According to the MeT Department here, people cannot expect relief from the blistering conditions over the next two days.
