Congress candidates Karuna Shukla and Tamradhwaj Sahu were among 12 candidates who filed nominations today for seven Chhattisgarh Lok Sabha constituencies going to the polls on April 24.
"Twelve candidates filed their nomination papers for Sarguja, Raigarh, Janjgir-Champa, Korba, Bilaspur, Durg and Raipur seats going to polls during the third phase of the Lok Sabha polls in the state," an official told PTI.
A total of 15.10 lakh voters will exercise their franchise in Sarguja Lok Sabha constituency, while in Raigarh, 16.13 lakh voters will decide the fate of candidates, he said.
