The NWR has also maintained punctuality up to 95 per cent whereas 20 per cent decrease in accident was also registered, NWR General Manager R C Agrawal told reporters today.
Highlighting the achievements of the NWR during 2012-13, Agrawal said that 15.54 per cent growth was registered in income generated by passenger tickets and 33.41 per cent was the in income by freight and the overall growth in the NWR's income was 25.66 per cent as compared to the previous year.
27 out of proposed 72 CCTV cameras have been installed at Jaipur railway station and the entire system will be operationalised in coming months, he said.
The officer also gave a presentation about other activities being carried out under the NWR.
