The decisions were taken at the first meeting of the Northern Regional Police Coordination Committee, that comprises states of Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Chandigarh and Delhi.
Delhi Police Commissioner Alok Verma chaired the meeting here, that was attended by DGs and IGs of the member states.
"The officers attending the meeting discussed and shared information relating to terror and de-radicalisation, drug trafficking, online fraud, misuse of cyberspace, institutionalisation of meetings, joint exercises and sports events between the police of districts bordering states besides integration and sharing of finger-print records," an official statement said.
Delhi Police also invited Uttar Pardesh and Haryana to send one platoon each to participate in the Delhi Police Raising Day Parade on February 16 next year.
