Yi is a part of industry body Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
Social activist Ruchi Narendran, who is also the president of Safety Awareness for Everyone (SAFE) club, distributed 1,025 such notebooks among the children of Prem Jyoti Prangan School free of cost at a function here today.
The initiative is part of Yi's 'Massom' project aimed at keeping children safe.
The Jharkhand chapter of Yi has roped in a local printer to print one lakh notebooks with safety rules for school children, teachers as well as the parents, Narendran said.
