Noted journalist K V Anoop passes away

: Noted journalist and author K V Anoop, the Chief Sub-editor of Mathrubhumi publications 'Star and Style', passed away at today at a private hospital here, where he was undergoing treatment for kidney-related ailment.
He was 42 years and is survied by his wife and daughter.
Anoop, who joined Mathrubhumi in 1997, was the recipient of several awards, including the 1992 Uroob Award for his novel 'Ammadaivangalude Bhoomi', Muttathu Varkey Foundation award in 1994, E P Sushama Endowment (2006) and Mundoor Krishnankutty award (2011).
Mathrubhumi Managing Director M P Veerendrakumar, Managing Editor P V Chandran and staff of Mathrubhumi paid their last respects to Anoop at the hospital.
