The award is given by the the Centre for High Technology (CHT) under the aegis of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
The company won the third prize in the category of refineries having composite energy factor greater than or equal to 7.5, NRL said in a statement here today.
The award was received by NRL's Managing Director P Padmanabhan Senior and General Manager(Tech Services) D Ghosh, and was presented by Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas Saurabh Chandra during the 19th Refinery Technology Meet held at Chennai recently.
