Nursery student dies after getting stuck in school lift

In a tragic incident, a four-year-old girl today died after getting stuck in the lift of a private school where she was studying in Dilsukhnagar area, police said.
"The girl, Sayeda Fatima, got stuck in the school lift and died," Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (East Zone) L T Chandra Shekar told PTI.
As per preliminary information, the girl's head got stuck in the lift, resulting in the tragedy, another police officer attached to Malakpet Police Station said, adding that she was a nursery student.
However, he refused to share any further details.
Senior police officers rushed to the spot and further probe was on into the incident.

Meanwhile, the family members of the deceased and other local residents gathered in front of the school and held a protest demanding stern action against its management.
