course at Thane district civil hospital allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling of her quarters, police said toady.
"The incident came to light last evening when roommates of the victim, identified as Poonam Gharat, found her body hanging in their room," senior inspector DP Borste of Thane Nagar police station said.
He said Gharat was the final yest student of the nursing course at the hospital.
Boraste said that Gharat's body had turned blue when it was spotted by her roommates.
Police did not find any suicide note near her body, Boraste said, adding that the body has been sent for postmortem.
