National Unionist Zamindara Party (NUZP) MLA Sona Devi joined the Congress today.
The NUZP legislator from Raisinghnagar Assembly constituency joined the Congress at the party's state unit office in presence of senior leaders.
"Sona Devi joined the Congress today. With her joining, the party will be strengthened in Sriganganagar and Hanumangarh districts," state Congress chief Sachin Pilot said at a press conference here.
He said BJP was a "sinking ship" and time will decide who joins the Congress next.
After joining Congress, Sona Devi said, "The BJP is an anti-Dalit party. Dalits had to face atrocities after the April 2 shut down. Congress is doing a better work. I will dispense the duties and roles given to me effectively by the Congress leadership."
