Actor-rapper O'Shea Jackson Jr has been roped in Warner Bros drama "Just Mercy".
According to Variety, details about Jackson Jr's role are unknown at the time.
Directed by Destin Cretton, the film also stars Jordan and Brie Larson.
Cretton will direct from script that he co-wrote with Andrew Lanham.
Gil Netter and Asher Goldstein will also produce with Jordan.
Based on the book "Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption," the movie is the story of Bryan Stevenson (Jordan), a gifted young lawyer fighting for equal justice in a flawed legal system.
Production is set to start next month in Atlanta.
