Occultist held for kidnapping teenage girl

An occultist has been arrested for allegedly abducting a 14-year-old girl in Mokhampur village here, police said today.
The victim's family had complained that Sonu (26), a 'tantrik', abducted the girl on June 23 from the village, they said.
The accused was yesterday arrested and the girl rescued, police said, adding, locals beat him up before handing him over to the police.
A case has been registered against the accused, police said.
The victim girl has been sent for medical examination to ascertain if she was raped, police added.
