Occultist rapes married woman

Promising to make her pregnant by using his divine powers, a middle-aged occultist allegedly raped a 30-year-old married woman.
The woman, married for last eight years, could not bear any child. She was upset due to the reason and visited an occultist.
"One week before the incident, the woman met the occultist and asked him to help her get pregnant," the FIR filed by the woman said.
On August 3, when she was alone at home, the accused came to her home and offered her drug-laced ash after which she fell unconscious. He then raped her and fled.
The FIR was filed yesterday at the Loni police station.

A senior police said the case is under investigation and the police was looking for the absconding accused.
