The camps were held at Berhampur, Bhanjanagara and Hinjili by the Department of Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (SSEPD).
The chief minister visited all the camps.
Out of 27,512 identified persons with disabilities in the district, as many as 26,002 attended the camps.
"Ganjam is perhaps the first district in the world to distribute aids and appliances to such a large number of persons with disabilities in a single day," said District Social Security officer (DSSO) Balaram Sethi.
Ration cards under the National Food Security Act (NFSA), income certificate, residential certificate, DRI loan, agriculture kits, house under Biju Pucca Ghar Yojana (BPGY) and assistance from chief minister's relief fund (CMRF) were distributed to the persons with disabilities in the camps.
