The women were apparently fed up with the deceased G Mahender's addiction to alcohol, according to police.
"He was addicted to alcohol and used to allegedly daily harass his two wives, aged 38 and 33. At about 4 A.M, Mahender beat up his son in drunken condition," a police official said.
The women in a fit of rage throttled Mahender with a saree, pulled him out of the house and set him ablaze after dousing him in kerosene," he said.
