Odisha Govt official suspended for skipping poll duty

The district administration of Kerndrapara has placed under suspension a booth level officer (BLO) for skipping poll duty in Aul block.
The errant official Madhab Chandra Dalei skipped poll duty in Balakati polling booth under Aul block, officials said.
"The official was found guilty of skipping poll duty assigned to him. So he was placed under suspension. Any form of dereliction in poll duty will be sternly dealt with," Kendrapara Collector Muralidhar Mallick said.
