Odisha Minority Forum passes away
Patra (62) was undergoing treatment at a private hospital here for last about one week and the end came today, family sources said.
A former scientist in the Indian Space Research Organisation, Patra worked in different positions before taking voluntary retirement from work for the welfare and development of minorities, the OMF release said.
Apart from being the president of Odisha Minority Forum, he was president of United Theological School in Cuttack, president of Utkal Christian Church Central Council and president of YMCA, Bhubaneswar.
