Official, his son arrested for taking bribe

A land revenue official and his son were today arrested Lokayukta police while allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 4,000 at Multanpura village in Rajgarh district.
Acting on a tip off, the Lokayukta police caught Shivnarayan Mandolia and his son for accepting bribe from complainant Lakhan Dangi for transferring land record papers in his name, a Lokayukta official said.
Shivnarayan's son Shyam Mandolia (35) took the bribe on behalf of his father, the official said.
A case under Prevention of Corruption Act has been registered against the accused in this regard, he said.
