Krishna Kumar, the then General Manager and Additional Managing Director of Rashtriya Nirman Nigam, had been placed under suspension by the state government, an official release said.
The action followed after the state government took serious view of "administrative and financial irregularities" in construction works pertaining to Kanshi Ram Smarak Sthal, Eco Green Park, Bhimrao Ambedkar Smarak Sthal and Baudh Vihar Shanti Upvan in Lucknow, it said.
Kumar, at present PWD Chief Engineer in Azamgarh, would remain attached to the engineer-in-chief office in Lucknow, the release said.
