Both edible and non-edible oils ruled stable in an otherwise lackluster oils and oilseeds market today in the absence of any large-scale buying.
In futures, castorseeds for September contract traded bearish to ease further amid subdued export enquiries.
Groundnut oil, refined palmolein, castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil -- all ended at their previous level of Rs 980, Rs 525, Rs 3,500, Rs 730 and Rs 730 (except castorseeds bold per 100 kg, rest all per 10 kg).
Moving to futures, Castorseeds September contract resumed lower at Rs 3,645 and drifted further to finish at Rs 3,636 from Rs 3,650 previously, showing a modest loss of Rs 14 per tonne.
