A 57-year-old farmer has allegedly
committed suicide in Nagla Incha village here, apparently upset over damage to his crops due to unseasonal rain.
One Rajveer Singh in Jaswant Nagar area committed suicide yesterday by hanging himself from a mango tree in his field, Circle Officer, Anil Kumar said.
The villagers have claimed that Rajveer was upset due to crop loss.
The body has been sent for postmortem, police said, adding, investigation is on to ascertain the motive behind the suicide.
