The "You Don't Know Love" singer split from Francesca Thomas last September after three years of dating and though he doesn't like being on his own, he's at least grateful their break-up gave him the chance to show off a new side of himself on his upcoming fifth album, reported Female First.
"I hate being single. It's not really where I want to be. [But] because of the heartbreak, it's nice to give the fans something different... I want to be a bit more bold [in the music] and for people to see I'm not just this cheeky guy who sings happy songs all the time," he said.
