"The Chief Minister's suggestion to the Centre to withdraw AFSPA on trial basis is childish and highly immature", Leader of BJP Legislature Party Ashok Khajuria told reporters here today.
Khajuria asked the Congress to respond to CM's statement that Defence, Foreign and Telecommunication are the only departments, which link Jammu and Kashmir with rest of India.
"The Chief Minister should not forget that the state's economy is totally dependent on central funds and the Congress should explain why is it not objecting to it", he wondered.
BJP national executive member and chief spokesman Jitender Singh added that the party has decided to take both the Chief Minister's views expressed in the Assembly and Sharma's suspension, to the people.
