Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah suggested that ex-servicemen should accept the terms and conditions of One-Rank-One-Pension scheme likely to be announced by the Centre today than get nothing in return.

"With an imminent #OROP announcement is it time to remember #Confucius who said 'better a diamond with a flaw than a pebble without'?" Omar wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.

The possibility of an announcement was being talked about in official circles, although ex-servicemen maintained that there was no agreement on revision of pension.
