Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today took a pot shot at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his recent remarks on joining social media before becoming Chief Minister of Gujarat.
"....He became CM in 2002. Facebook started in '04 and Twitter in '06 so must be another platform," Omar tweeted while replying to one of the tweets by netizens on the issue.
The Prime Minister during the course of his visit to Facebook Headquarters in California in the US on Sunday had said that when he had adopted social media he never thought that he would one day become the Chief Minister or Prime Minister but was just curious to know the world.
Facebook was launched on February 4, 2004 and Twitter was operational in March 2006.
