Omaxe Q2 profit up 92% at Rs 24 cr

Realty firm Omaxe Ltd today reported a 92 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 23.69 crore for the second quarter of this fiscal.
Its net profit stood at Rs 12.32 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Income from operations also rose to Rs 326.74 crore in the July-September period of this fiscal from Rs 300.95 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
In the first six months of the current financial year, the net profit jumped more than two-fold to Rs 69.14 crore from Rs 29.77 crore in the year-ago period.

Income from operations increased to Rs 764.15 crore during April-September period of this financial year from Rs 610.62 crore in the same period of the previous year.
The company is developing 39 real estate projects - 13 group housing, 16 townships and 10 commercial.
