Roha in Raigad district who allegedly demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs 1000 was arrested by the ACB.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police, Raigad unit Sunil Kalgutkar, the accused official, Raghuvir Patil (53) was held last evening after ACB laid a trap and caught him accepting the bribe money from the complainant.
The complainant, a resident of Nagotane had a land at Amdoshi at Roha and had applied for measurement of the land for which Patil made a demand of Rs 1,000.
Aggrieved, the complainant approached the ACB Raigadh unit officials following which the accused was arrested.
